So Here I Cry

So Here I Cry

A Poem by Terrell A. Pullen

Like the fall's first wind
Touching me like none could ever
She brushed across the unseen hairs of my skin
I feel her in the past tense
I miss her

In the creation of this world
All things point to seem like
I am the dark
She is the light cause,
She was the day that came and brighten up my night
Love then lost
That's the struggle she now makes me fight
I miss her

She doesn't understand
My body is dry land
Except the river that runs from my sight
Down my hills
Creating a waterfall into my hand
They say tears from a man only come when one shall die
Talk to her
Then meet this guy
I miss her

So here I cry
Like when George cut that apple tree
I just can't lie
Heart broken, feeling like I am about to die
I miss her
This I can't deny
Here I lay, I stand, I sit, I say
I miss her

So here I cry

I like your rhyme/flow. I really feel the sincerity of missing that woman when she's gone.

In the creation of this world
All things point to seem like
I am the dark
She is the light cause,
She was the day that came and brighten up my night
Love then lost
That's the struggle she now makes me fight
I miss her

That's some dope poetry right there, man.

Keep goin'!
