My Wish

My Wish

A Poem by PetiteGemini
"

This is what I sometimes wish for...

"

This pain deep inside of me

Is something that I can't deny.

It's intensity becomes stronger

With each pounding heartbeat.

Soon cold blood courses through

My veins, killing me slowly.

I eventually succumb to the chill,

Allowing my soul to resurrect.

I stand up, no feeling in me.

I walk around, wondering whats happened to me.

I walk outside, people walking straight through me,

Not even knowing that I'm there.

I realize that I'm dead,

Finally having my wish come true.

The pain is finally gone.
What more could I want?

Death has finally granted my wish,

My wish to feel nothing.
