Losing the world

Losing the world

A Poem by Depressed-in-love

Losing the world

I lost my love and life the day the world shattered,

everything changing before me,

nothing but sadness mattered.

My world tumbling down before me.

And how can this possibly be?

Me losing my love and life the day the world shattered.

The reds, the blues, and the pinks, everything turning to gray.

And I can finally agree,

That nothing but sadness mattered.

My world! How is this happening to me?

And all that I can foresee

is my life crumbling.I lost my love and life the day the world shattered,

Little remains left unsaid by loved ones and friends.

And though I might disagree,

nothing remains but sadness.

My world, Oh my world! Is tattered and gray.

There has never been guaranteed,

That everything will be alright. I lost my love and life the day the world shattered.

Nothing remains but sadness
