Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by Devinked7115

Darkness paid a private visit last night,
As if he knows me very well-
And caused havoc in my mind.

Darkness crawled to the edges of my sight,
lurking ambitiously for a catch-
And caused havoc in my mind.

Forgiveness, a curse and a blessing.
Memories, so are you.
But the more I contain it,
The more it echoes.
So in this poem,
I’m letting go.
