Strange Raindrops

Strange Raindrops

A Poem by DogDrawler

Its drum and slpash is faster

than the beat of wiper blades

Which race in vain of patter
than of all the cascades

It seems not to fall upon us
but to wash straight against us
As it blows across our path
a cloud races towards the sun
The day is yet bright
and yet the sky looks fun

Ah. I love this. I've always had a strange liking of the rain... And a particular line in youre poem reminds me of something I've always thought about rain...
Thanks for the share. :)

A very enjoyable poem describing an event taking place in the rain. As the storm comes the storm goes. The sun always returns.

I like this, powerful imagery of a rain storm. Sometimes rain does come in sideways, nothing protects from it then. Nice ending too.
