Martian Rockets

Martian Rockets

A Poem by DrSprinkz73
"

Is not exactly a relateable title but Ehh

"

Look at me!

And see all the perfection

In your eyes that I will never be

Thoughts of you and my world goes cold

I start to wonder Why?

Why should I be alive at all?

I walk through the rain hoping it will fill me..

I dive through the waters praying it will drown me..

It's like I'm alive but you have killed me.

Floating empty as a ghost cause no one feels me.

If man is truth

If man is lie

And I ain't both

Than what am I?

Void of emotion What is left besides the pain?

Never Lost but always Gained

Enrapture of numbness

Unaware I can overcome this

Cause see one must be reminded of the brighter day

There's always something new

Even if there's no you

But then again, If there was you The story would be the same

Damn I wish you knew my life is not a game

an honest opening of self~ melancholy and anger finely balanced~ it's unfortunate that so many see and handle others as nothing more than chess pieces on the game board of life~ well expressed poetic~
