Singularity's End

Singularity's End

A Poem by Cerebriation

I suppose it is bigger than current depiction
The indisposition, fear, and aggression
My composure and rigor are lost in transmission
It's pure inhibition, beyond my discretion

Throes of frantic mania, mindlessness, mess
No repose or respite, relief or rest
No apparent remedy save for a guess
Unending anxiety, compounding stress

I suppose it's bigger than current depictions
Bigger than feelings, desires, emotion
Than your or my hopes or pointless afflictions
Singulars convalesce in collective devotion

Slow, pedantic, cranial, mindful unrest
Know the outs and exits, means of egress
Know errant enmity seeks no address
Upending this blight is to what we profess

I suppose I will figure our strongest positions
Figures, strategic, deliberate motions
Stand fortified, coaxing away dereliction
Singularly redress back to comforting notions

We will fight this
Or die trying
We will right this
Stop your crying
We will beat this
Or die fighting
You will stand up
Quit denying
We will make it
No mistaking
Stand and face it
No more waiting
