Squiggly Lines

put forth from pen,

and seen as passion

Black squiggly lines

take us to worlds

no one has seen,

to traverse the plains,

and climb the mountains,

with just a little ink,

paper and eyes,

visions and stories,

rhythm and rhymes,

Who knew they could take us

to places unheard of,

so insane and elaborate,

so thrilling to learn of?

Go wherever you want,

with a pen and half a mind.

Just think it up and ink it down;

A better world, by leaps and bounds,

Is in the squiggles of the lines.
