What a woman!

A poem of a woman that i know that has been through hell and back and has lived with this through her life. My thoughts and feelings that went out to her!

I once met a sexy gorgeous girl

Who lived her life to the full, right out there!

I wished I knew her more

Like I know her now

 

That girl she knew where she wanted to go

And knew how to get there

Today is the day that we have to live for!

 

Life isn’t worth waiting around for

I am going to party on, and find her again

Hell, she had a heart of gold and yet she could be as cold as stone

She knew how to take the words and like a knife, cut out your heart.

 

Oh Hell what a girl, she knew how to love

Oh hell, how to love….. What a girl!

 

Someone like her is hard to find

She worked so hard and she knew her mind

She is one of a kind,

You’ll only find one like this in your life time

 

Oh hell I wish I knew her more than I do now

Oh hell she is one of a kind, this amazing girl.

 

She could make you laugh and she could make you cry

She could make you do anything she wanted to

What a girl, one hell of an amazing girl

She was always like no other,

 

With her you always knew just were you stood

She would tell you right out there were you where.

If you messed with her you got told.

What a girl one hell of an amazing girl

 

Now this girl is woman and she has had one hell of a life

She’s been to hell and back and survived.

She is really one heck of an amazing woman!

Im not sure if this meets the genre criteria, but it sort of covers both areas.

[My Fair Lady]

This tribute reads like a song. I have to laugh a little the very last line, when throughout the verses you say "Hell" then at the very end.. "Heck". Made me smile .
