Just wrote this one...kind of pouring out my feelings atm

Never meant to be
More than a memory
Our world was destined
To crash and burn before our eyes
How we came to be
And how we ended
We were never meant to be
More than a memory

It's all too obvious now, I don't want to admit
'You'll never be with me...
Never again.'
We're fading away into a memory...
but I don't want it to end like this.

 

I'm too far to reach you
I was a coward till the end
And in the end I wasn't strong enough
We both yearned for a change
But that change hadn't come

Now we are fading away
Never meant to be
More than a memory
Never meant to see
What could have been
If we just start all over again.

 

There's just fractions of time left
It just seems too impossible
Being shy was my downfall
I ran, when you left
You returned to find me gone
But you never ran after me
I guess I had just gone too far
For you to save me

So now we are never meant to be
More than a memory.

For once how do I become strong enough
How do I make you realize all I want
Is to start again, instead of just being
Never more than...
Just a bitter-sweet memory.
