Making me feel like I can walk on the clouds.

Every time I’m next to you,

I can feel their softness, and the mist with each touch.

The way you walk,

It’s not like everyone else’s.

You add some kind of gentle shift, not gliding.

You’re voice.

It gives me the joy to last each and everyday of high school.

All of the stress, and hard times given off by my other friends suddenly fades.

The way we ignore each other,

We secretly know what we are both doing,

For when I look at you, you are staring straight back at me.

What friends we used to be,

And all of the laughs we shared.

Just remember me, the old me that is.

I’m still here,

Complete with my old feelings towards you.

I really don’t care if you feel the same way any more.

Let’s just say it’s been a while, and you’ve moved on.

Leaving me behind in the shadows of every student who has once crossed your path.

But know this:
