In Golden Halos

In Golden Halos

A Poem by EmpressPoetess
"

Inspired by a sunrise

"

Echoes heard
on slow drifting clouds

carried across the wild winds
joy filled pleas to the sun, 'awaken!'
~~<>~~
But she sits below the silver clouds
arrayed as she is, in golden halos
because her time is not yet,
to arise
