Desolate Queen.

Desolate Queen.

A Poem by Enigma Monster

Desolate queen in an empty country
watching over weeds and trees
watching as she lives in bliss with him
there in the distance where it's green
A whole beautiful life
in the space of a breath
All made to look
like it has such depth
But tomorrow will come
and it'll be gone
The queen will sit back
and take a deep breath
her hands lay like blocks
on the arms of the chair
eyes painted on
and the mind behind clear
Always she knew this day would come
dreams blow away and the bliss is gone
Smile to think that he has lived happy
never aware of the desolate country
But again she's alone
no one else will come
they all shrivel when she looks at them
no one is as strong
So she's left to do her heart's desire
Slowly she lifts her arms
and slowly puts them back down
And in the space of a breath
the desolate country is torn down.

Amazing ! I'm actually writing a story about this land without a Queen/King, I know it's the other way around, but your poem is cool :)
