Numb

Numb

A Poem by Natasha Leanne

I have no desires,

No wants or needs,

Your words now only

Echo my mem'ries,

Though my heart is still beating,

I no longer conceal,

My emotions are gone,

I no longer feel.

Dead inside,

I lay on this floor,

Tortured forever,

And numbed to the core.

Desolate and depressing, but well written. The flow was well paced and you portrayed the dark feelings truly well. The emotions were easy to connect with.
