Rings

Rings

A Poem by FlamingPhoenix
"

...contemplating which one of four rings to remove so I can wear my wedding ring...

"
"I won't wear just anyone's ring" was my quip
Prior to our experiences with your whip
A friend with benefits was your key
To storming my castle and capturing me

Collared, branded, psychologically chained to your side
My heart and spirit yearning to become your bride
Now on the eve of our wedding night
I find myself grateful for every memory and indeed every fight

I love you more with every breath that I take
Fully committed to us now knowing our vows I will not forsake
Unconditional love for the rest of my life
You are the God of my existence and I, within hours, your wife

I liked the poem. You told a good story with wisdom and your experience. The ring should have value. It mean we promised forever. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
