My love : the enemy

My love : the enemy

A Poem by Flo
"

well, title says it all

"

I open my eyes and turn around

getting a glimpse of him sleeping without a sound

i remember all the trouble we caused

for one reason: falling in love with the enemy

Prince charming was at the door

But I couldnt help how cliche he was and how he was a bore

His smile indifferent, his eyes drifting off with bordem

I knew that prince charming was  not my problem to hold

Until the day I've seen the enemy rise, I kept silent and keeping my feelings untold

His eyes piercing

His jaw set

I knew that there was an attraction when we first met

We faught and cursed, but cant deny the feelings inside

The look in his eyes, his actions aside

making my heart beat wild

I left my prince and ran away

just to be with my enemy for one day

He took me in embracing arms

ignoring the difference of many things

He apologized for playing with my heart's strings

I smiled and met his lips with mine

My enemy, My love, My life

It did seem a bit fast paced, but that aside it was great! This piece hardly deserves any negative comments, it was terrific. I love how different it was. You didn't just write about a love affair with prince charming and happily ever after, but you put her with the enemy. Someone who she shouldn't love in the fairytale, and yet who is so much more real than idealistic Charming. You defiantly have a talent for creating, and reading this wonderful poem I bet you would be great at prose! You're story conjuring skills are seen here, I hope to read more of your postings.
