I haven't read haikus in awhile because none seem to satisfy me. I noticed you had written one and decided to check it out. I must say that I am impressed. Usually, if not the ancient Japanese haikus, I am left feeling a bit defeated and certainly unimpressed. But your haiku was marvelous. You stayed within the paramters and the message was beautiful. I really loved this haiku. It was wonderful and will be the last thing I read (hopefully) before I go to bed. Thank you for posting.
