When you love someone
but they don't seem to care
and you're left crying all alone
because they don't play fair.

You look to their heart within
wishing you were there
but they only want to part
and be gone with the wind
because they just don't care

So you're mired in misery
It's a pain beyond compare
And there's no Love anywhere
Frankly! because they don't give a care

Of all things in this world
love can cause the most pain for you
And you pay the price if love you dare
you'll get hurt before it's thru~
when the one you love just doesn't care.

So it's best not to fall in Love
ah, but if you do,
'Tis best to fall in Love with someone
who in turn
falls in love with you.

Nice flow. Reads well. Nothing to say about this feeling; it's been much talked about that it's pretty much cliched. Not this one, of course.

I think the word "Frankly!" can be done without.

This poem made me remember of the song "When you love someone" by Bryan Adams. Excerpt:
"you'll deny the truth - believe a lie
there'll be times that you'll believe you can really fly
but your lonely nights - have just begun
when you love someone"
