A Winter Night Sky

White snowflakes fly,In a Winter Night Sky
It's a most wondrous sight to see
A chilly nip to the air, but I don't care
'Tis a Season's Spirit, which has captured me.


The children are sleeping,hope they're not peeping
As I am wrapping presents for under the tree
So full of cheer,As Christmas draws near
A Season of merriment and glee


A cake in the oven is baking, a new recipe I'm making
I just hope it doesn't explode!
I was having fun, put in too much rum
and a sip here and there,put me in a silly mode.


Well needless to say, it's been quite a day
And a time for sweet sleep draws Nigh'
Wishing for things, in sleepy-warm dreams
As I slumber,under, A Winter Night Sky.
