Daydreamer

Daydreamer

A Poem by Celie Rose
"

hopeful daydreamer

Daydreamer

an in-depth daydreamer she be.

without these dreams she'd never

find within herself any moments of

peace,

or have any release or relief from this

world filled with continued turmoil,

marking great chaos and fear,

a world enslaved with death and pain,

where selfish greed and power does

lead and is necessary in this life to gain.

it is a bitter shame,

ludicrous, twisted and insane,

this present life game.

many times she does need to escape,

to relax and unwind,

from these burdensome and awful

trying times, supine.

in her mindful society an awesome

daydream is seen.

war, sickness, famine and death,

is bound, chained and locked away.

under perpetual arrest.

cell keys are misplaced, lost and

forgotten never again to be sought

or ever found,

complete incineration of these.

total decay as they cast away,

these cursed and condemning keys,

where indignation succeeds.

nevertheless, she still has a smidgen

of the spirit of hope living.

where wickedness and badness is revoked.

within the jasmines of her dreamful mind,

this being her realization inside.

it resides and duly shines,

a better tomorrow for future times.

her daydreams deepens as she exhales

with a sigh of relief,

then she sinks into a delightful smile

while thinking.

warfare weapons are rejected,

and dismantled.

broken down into pieces,

made into plowshares indeed.

tin soldiers stand at attention,

ready to go.

on a mission of redemption

that is bestowed.

foot soldiers treading and spreading,

unity and peace throughout entire

country landings unrelenting,

reaching all peoples of the nations,

at a quickened pace and rate worldwide,

without hidden resistance steadily

flowing.

sickness is not fatal or malignant.

there is no major diseases reaping.

the common cold is cured

but is still existence,

but never inflicts any type of death

sentence.

pestilence and famine is ripped away.

no one can complain or say..i'm hungry,

malnutrition is kept at bay.

plenty foodstuffs for all nations,

languages and peoples is

maintained.

a long and prosperous life incites.

unfortunately her daydreams do end,

and back to reality, fatality begins

once again.
