Poor, Obscure, Plain and Little

Poor, Obscure, Plain and Little

A Poem by Beatles9322
"

:)

"
Quiet, shy and unnoticed
I was these insignificant
Eighteen years. Without a true
father, I felt that no man loved me.

There you are. Sitting across from me,
hands folded and eyes squinted.
You wait for me to begin
the revelation of my soul.

"You were the first to recognize me
and love what you saw."

A wise man know real beauty when she is near. A amazing poem. The title caught my attention. You said a lot in so few words. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.
