You never understand a mother's love until it's gone

Still remember the first time i saw your face
You gave me all your love though i turned away
Now i realize that you're not here today
if only i could go back all the way

You used to clasp me in your arms,
would rub my tears away
say how proud you were of me
and laugh at all my mistakes
I'd do anything to bring you back today
But I know you won't be there

Ma,I shouldn't have neglected you
Please forgive me for the things i couldn't do
If only you would come back again
I will take away all your pain
I'd hold your arms in mine
And show you my love behind
I'd do anything to hear your voice again
But I know you won't be there

Please look down at me ma
And see my grief and woe
won't you come down and wipe my tears
Just like you did before

Ma, i shouldn't have neglected you
Please forgive me for the things I couldn't do

I'd do anything to see you back today
But I know that you'd never be there
And I have lost everything by losing you....
