~Poem has no name~

A poem of heart break and self harm... Something I've done, quite honestly.

Second by second and the time slowly passed,

Leaving her heart a shattered mess.

She dropped the knife, and as it fell,

She watched the blood begin to spill.

With each second passing by,

She began to remember all the lies,

The lies you spoke,

The promises you broke,

Her heart begins to break again

She's screaming from the pain within.

It's tearing her apart

She was broken from the start.
