Paolo

Paolo

A Poem by Green Gem
"

Nothing new. A poem for a man.

"
I wish you'd share
the pieces of your strife
But I'm not close.
Or inside your life.

I might know you're sighing
When thinking of me
when my eyes you are
longing to see.

And breathing along
the very same vain
delusional expectancy
that turns on our brains.

It's already happened...
by the virus of my passion
We've been infected.

it has no strength alone
but will burn like acid
ravaging our bones.

I loved your poem. Though tragic as it is, it's good. Free-flowing.
