SHORT STORY FOR KIDS

Once there lived a small boy named mintu, who lives with his father. His mother passed away when he was 2 years old. So mintu's father comforted him saying mom is with us by becoming a star. When mintu asked his father showing his hands towards the sky , among those stars which is my mom? His father replied, " The star that appears first to your eyes in the evening is your mom".

So everyday he waited for the first star to appear. He keeps saying his wishes and all the difficulties he had for the day. later he started realizing all his wishes coming true. So he started saying to his dad and friends about his wishes coming true when saying it to his mom star. At first they thought he was fooling around, then they wanted to test if its really happening? They tried and their wishes came true. 

So there in they kept name for this first star that appears in the evening as "STAR OF WONDER"
