We all fail from time to time, for some it feels more intense, failure can be interpreted and dealt with in many ways. As for my own experience, I always drown in my thoughts, I do nothing else but I use writing as an outlet. I like that you seem to reflect yourself/your life a lot in somewhat philosophical ways which lead to rhetorical poems (migt have invented this term right now).

Couldnt have said it better myself, its getting easier though
Your poem eloquently described the feeling of failure--that feeling when your mind is spinning in circles binded by commingled frustration, hate, and despair. We have all felt that way before. Each and every one of us has been in that mindset of utter confusion and chaos where we seem to be our own worst enemy--where that inevitable pain in our chest seems to describe our whole lives to a point that makes us ask "why." You, my friend, gave a perfect description of that feeling in less than 30 words. Great work.
Yes I do! It is a life struggle to accept our thoughts and get past them.
There are methods for doing that... but I think we can all relate to our thoughts taking over.
The way this is written is interesting. It lends itself to a disconnected style of thinking that calls forth the feeling of desperation and confusion. Well done!
The negativity of thought is almost never touched on. Despite its brief nature, the poem is a call to everyone who regrets every failure. The one who sits by the road, watching another success roll by. Your feet behin to wobble, and soon the ground is quicksand.
I can relate, I used to drown in my thoughts constantly. Controlled by them. Failure is much more important than success though and I applaud those who fail and yet continue forward, for that is true success. Nicely written, well done
Failure exists to show us what success is. In fact. I think of it this way. If we go off the Yin Yang theory, what exactly is a book? If the white is the good then a blank page is the Yang. But what makes the book interesting. The ink. The darkness wrought in writing. If it weren't for the darkness, there would be no writing, no book.
And assume you find a blank, pristine, fresh paged book. What do you do with it? You put ink to that page my friend. The failures are the words that make the story
