The Girl Who Liked Me

I am a hard person to love but when i love, I love really hard.

How stupid a person can be 

not asking a nice, cute girl out 

well that was me…

I was with my family in Greece, Chalkidiki

Spent a good time and there it was, a nice girl who was into me 

I liked the way she stared but my oh my, my stupidity

Tomorrow is my last chance that i will miss unfortunately

if there is something I regret it’s not being a man when needed to be 

there were many girls who checked me but none in the way she glazed at me, beautifully, happily, like she wanted me

 

it’s already 3:00 AM and I can’t stop thinking if there is a chance can I take it or will I let it flee 

Hopefully, I wish someone would push me into my identity, my reality, my who I was born to be 

but this is a journey meant to only me 

not letting s**t get me is who I am but is it who I’m suppose to be? 

somebody please help me, I don’t want the mistakes of the past to haunt me

the barrier I built to protect me is rusty 

but I don’t need it anymore I got me. Hopefully.

I'm actually standing up here and clapping my hands like a fool, you sir deserves a gold medal in our literature class. Loved your style with how you still try to fit in the rhymes to make it sound right (but I think you can better it someday, it was good but it could be better I believe).
