My Life - To Change

Always find the will to fight. If not, at least find it to move on. -Life's lesson for me-

Don't you miss the time where the future was a cheerful thought and not a hopeless present.
Where Superman's problems weren't hard to solve, to just do the right thing, to be the right person at the right time.
But years have passed upon me. I now realize being me is not easy, let alone be my friends or like the society.

I don't even know where the equation of life has me. Although, I know it's not easy, but math always excited me.

I'm in the process of growing which lead me to grow apart from my family and me; for that I have anxiety.
It's deep. It's killing me.

Author's Note

I was diagnosed with social anxiety lately, which has been dominating me through years now, but this time I'm fighting with everything I've got. I had a writers block for sometime but I found my way through it and I'm back.

I know how you feel. I feel the same at times, and it’s not easy to cope with it and there still are times when I just didn’t want to talk to anyone. I just wanted to say that even if you feel alone, still you are not alone in this. If writing helps you keep writing and sharing :)!

Honest and direct words.
"I'm in the process of growing which lead me to grow apart from my family and me; for that I have anxiety.
It's deep. It's killing me."
The above lines are sad and true for the most of us. We pull away from the family and we learn one day. Family is important and needed. Thank you Ghaith for sharing the excellent poetry.
