Night and Day (The Honeybee and the Wolf)

Interconnecting Tankas. The bee represents the day; the wolf, night. I may add more to the poem. Idk. Let me know what you think.

 

Flowers bloom your name
Across my field of desire.
I wait for you there,
Patient as the honeybee
Filled with nectar and of joy

Rays of sunlight shine abroad,
Yet I long for dark of night.

Moonlight shines the sky
And stars twinkle in fury.
I long for your touch
Like the wolf longs for the moon
And howls with sad, wanting pleas.

On hilltops, I gaze alone
Hoping loneliness will end.
