It Starts When?

It Starts When?

A Poem by Angel

That little bunny passed on by
I know I don't need to be high
To feel that electricity I do with you
Can't tell me you don't feel it too?
You're my own little drug
Taking my breath away with your hug
But my heart slips in your hands
When your lips find mine to land
Fear and love course throughout my body and veins
Tears of happiness fall down my face in the rain
Broken for so long until you came around
Not saying you healed me from being down
You just made me feel like I'm not a freak
Didn't take much for me to see you're a geek
Yet no one else can make me smile with just a look
No one else can have the love that you took
No not took but captured without even trying
For once I met someone who doesn't believe in lying
Truth only escapes your lips
How it felt with your hands on my hips
Arms around my stomach pulled me closer to you
Of all the things you could do
You chose to love me
There are days I just can't believe
How lucky I am to have such a guy with such a big heart
One whose been damaged and pulled apart
Both have our pasts
Yet we wish for this to last
So our journey can finally begin
On the day you actually let me in.
