Have you ever?

Small things that aren't really noticed.

Have you ever noticed a flower give bloom?

Or watch an eclipse on the night of a full moon?

Ever watched the leaves of an autumn tree?

As each takes its turn to flutter free?

Ever watched a bird prepare for flight?

Ever watched as day turned into night?

Ever seen the colours of the world?

Or how the crashing waves are curled?

How the White horses roam free?

With every crash the dolphins breathe!

The way the wind whistles on a windy day?

Telling us what’s on the way!

Ever noticed how the night cries?

When it’s time to say good bye?

Leaving dew drops on the grass

Looking like tiny drops of glass.

When it’s time for snow to fall

Frost builds in every window and wall.

As the rain hits with a patter on the ground?

The way ants communicate without any sound?

Try take time to sit and listen.

Or watch how shinny things glisten.

Or how the people blink their eyes?

Whenever they get a big surprise!

Or watch a tiny baby sleep,

It doesn’t even make a peep!
