Destructive Intentions

Destructive Intentions

A Poem by JanMarie

I need to stop loving
Destructive people,
Bent on going all the way down.
I need to be wary;
They have no intentions
Of going down alone.

Still, I cling so hard to
Destructive people,
The kind so engulfed in and pleased with their pain.
Why? Well, maybe I am
Destructive people,
Absorbing the guilt and drinking the blame.

All hell bent on going down.
No intentions of going alone.
