A Poem by Jasmijn
"

When home doesn't feel like home anymore

"
So here I am
letting the days pass by
as spring blooms into
a million flowers I don't even
 notice

I feel so static
and the streets I used to bike in, chalk in and
grow older in
have no new stories for me

Since I left
until I came back
I haven't missed these old walls
I haven' missed a thing

Since I'm back
I haven't spend a second without missing the old dusty roads, the smell of the mountains, the sun on my skin,
but above all this
I miss me the most

I have never ever been so lost
in a place
I'm supposed to call home

They say home is where the heart is
I guess
I lost it on my way back
'home'

Ah, moving on is very painful whether it is moving to a place or in life. I loved the last line it hits very hard.
