'Lemming In A Tabard.'

'Lemming In A Tabard.'

A Poem by Jason S Breed

I am the templar

Gripping onto Outremer

Like a nervous lemming

With second thoughts.

Scared to let go,

Scared to breathe and embrace the new.

With a gulp

I release each finger

One by one.

As my wings take flight

And the breeze pushes me

Towards the edge of the dawn.

The New Age is upon us.
