Orbits

Orbits

A Poem by J

I give you
silence, solace

The burst of a Sunday spent in
sleepy reflection, the city's skyline

Traced in frost and the freedom
from touch which inhibits, is drawn to

Covet that which it cannot be
through a star's alignment foretelling

Grace and mystery: the Pleiades,
hidden and free.

Always wandering, and wondering, what "free" is. I know the feeling.

Happy New Year to you J. What a lovely way of celebrating it and those seven sisters.

Smiling at you

Long winter nights are times of silence and sleep...I love seeing the stars move in the sky. Winter skies are the best.

I have a hard time with the polarities of my summer and your winter . . . more than my brain can process some days, you know?

There is that beauty of that which is both hidden and free!
SO good to be reading you again.
