~Untouched Piece~

~Untouched Piece~

A Poem by Pure Hope

Zephyrs pushing trees to wave
Hello to the morn they gave
Sun is peeking into view
Drying off the morning dew

Flowers blooming colors swell

Scents surround entwining well
Sun warms until bugs fly by
Hear the bluejay's mocking cry

Painted butterfly sweeps down
Taste of pollen, daisy's crown
Deer and beaver stand near creek
One to drink, one to critique

Sun gets higher, grasses bend
Trees and flowers background blend
Shadows begin their way past
This day can't forever last

Day lilies live just one day
Wink goodbye with dusk's display
Grand finale sky of fire
Timed with loon and cricket choir
