Musings at Sunset

Musings at Sunset

A Poem by Jiggsy2

The gentle waves roll into me
And roll back out - and then -
Each leaving something small behind,
To take it back again.

As souls come in to each our lives
Leaving tiny bits of each:
They take a bit of us in turn
Leaving imprints in the beach.

Under watchful eye of setting sun,
As waters roll away,
Soft whispers of the gentle waves
Hail yet another day.

That' a nice comparison to make about people that come into our lives. Some to stay, and some to leave with the tides of life.
