Alarming

Alarming

A Poem by Joel Easter
"

Songs lyrics in a punk style.

"

Baby, I’m a junkie

Another low life honky

Spade’s a spade

Might as well stay that way

They’ll say I’m still charming

(No, no, no)

It’s alarming

I’d try to change

But it’ll just harm me

Oh, I tried but

It’s beyond me

Not a charm to spare

Its worst to wear and worse to bear

I’ll reach for the door

To only make it to the floor

At least I’m still charming

(Not in my mind)

It’s alarming

(I hope to God)

It’s alarming

I tried to stop

but its beyond me

Sticky, icky, can’t get it done

Slog to the finish line

but call it number one

Need my fix and I’ll be on my way

Lord help me get from day to day

It’s alarming

(No no no)

Not a single bit charming

(Go go go)

I tried to stop me

(No no no)

But but but

It’s alarming

Another reason why

All the time

I’ll try to grow

Begin to whine

It’s time, it’s time, it’s time
