How can I compare?

How can I compare?

A Poem by JustNonsenseAndSugar

I do not rebuke your behavior,
I shall not criticize.
You no longer need me
I am not the apple of your eye.
You brag about your prowess
with the girl I do not know.
Talk about her daily
while I just nod and do not say
about how I cry at night.
I promised never to love you.
We made that deal.
But I fell long ago,
for your rough sort of charm.
But how can I compare?
You can touch her,
Kiss her,
Devour her.
I am naught but words.
How can I compare?
I know nothing of love
or loving.
I told you to keep that girl
and make her happy.
I will stay quiet
and smile for you.
I'll laugh for you.
But you don't hear me cry at night.
