Razors and Rosaries

Razors and Rosaries

A Poem by Kevin
"

Written as a response to "Kitten's" poem 'Lines'

"
You aren't meant to fight alone!
Let me take it from your hands!
Let me speak!
Speak and break the silence!

Let me say, "I'm sorry."
I wasn't always there.
But if you go this route
The long run will take you down!

Let us be there to pick you up
And help you fight your struggles!
Put it down and rest your head!

You may feel alone
Like you have no home
But let the razor lie
And your rosaries must die!

You aren't in this alone!
Let me apologize!
Let me say how much I care!
Care about the the scars you leave!

So pick yourself back up.
And dry your wet eyes
Because we'll always be here.

And let the razor lie!
And let
your rosaries
die...

Very passionate, very strong, and that ending was so perfect I don't even have words for it!

You did a great job with this piece, and I hope to read more of your work!
