Bid farewell to 2014 with a note

2014 is now a history;

Written in past tenses and sewn in memories;

The good, the bad, the ugly and the pretty;

Part and parcel of life, regardless how we wished it isn’t to be;

Wounds and scars, tears and laughter, it has all made us wiser;

Oh, no doubt, it did!

 

2015 a new chapter, a new story;

Blank page waiting to be written with hopes and uncertainties;

With blessing and well wishes, hugs and kisses,

We can rewrite the bad with goodness, the ugly with beauty;

And embrace tears with laughter, scars with bravery;

I know for sure we will be.

 

Put the past behind with a pat on the shoulder,

Face the future with smiles and laughter;

And let's embrace the new light, a new beginning;

Most importantly, embrace a new ME.
