I grieve for a life that never was, or could ever be.

And yet it feels so real,

As real as you are to me.

And yet the flashbacks are so true,

As real as me looking at you.

This is a somewhat work in process. In other words, I think it needs more, but I don't know where to go with it right now. So I'm posting what I have so far, and may edited at a later date.
