Let you in

Let you in

A Poem by DarkStar

I let you see the parts of me I don't even want to admit exist.
Fought of everyone of your tactics, tried so very hard to resist.
And ever advance, I pushed away, you just pushed me back.
I tried to convince you I wasn't worth it, and in your selfish search, you wouldn't take that.

I wish you did, I wish we never met,
Letting you in, has only lead me to hurt and regret.
