Love, My Self-Titled Agony

Love, My Self-Titled Agony

A Poem by Keli Renee

I see him walk, and my heart staggers
To hear him talk makes nothing matter.

My heart does swell when he is near
I imagin his whispers, inside my ear.

His smiles fall like needed rain,
And his faults are enough to eclipse pain.

But, alas! There she stands,
Her hand in his hand.

My true love, My tragedy.
My own self-titled agony.

Funny, but so real and true how it takes just the apparition of another single being next to our loved one to make all hopes crumble miserably. Why love?
Very nice flow in this piece of 'stil novo'.

So he is your source of both security and agony. Sad, yet true for all relationships haha!!
