I dream inside my dreams

I dream inside my dreams

A Poem by Kelso A. Nicholson

I dream of you.
Not like you would think.
I dream of tragedy, falling or falling asleep.
When I wake, it's you who stands over me.
You take my weary hand and lead me.
Large wooden double doors open to a white room
a piano plays and we dance.
I dream inside my dreams of you,
and I suspect they might all be nightmares.

Dreams are such a fascinating subject and such a great source of creative inspiration. Sometimes it can be hard to tease out dreams from reality. I liked your poem.
Well done.
