Frustrated Happiness

Frustrated Happiness

A Poem by Kenny Martínez Alvarez

I don't speak. I speak poetry
It take over me. I only hear poetic words
I'm living a movie

Where black is white
And white is black
When you are your own questions
A living abyss, worthy of admiration

To grow or make old
Agony is chasing him...
Accumulated masses, causing love
Every part, every one, everything
I love to love, when it hurts...
Likeness, similar to a violent passion
A placing among the gods to come near

A man with obsolete words or expressions
Pretending to have a mean proportion
Belonging to savages
A creature of great beauty
You can't call him a barbarian...
