Painless shame

Painless shame

A Poem by M.Kilani

Painless shame

Relief is it to let go
To give up to step back
Once what hurts you, you know
Once future seems so black

The less you expect
The less disappointment you get
All to avoid another heartbreak
You try to forget

Escape, your unwritten destiny
Your abandoned home
The one you fear to dwell
Keep her a secret a mystery

All to avoid her silent stare
And never to mind, what’s on her mind
It’s enough that you’re always there
Seek no love , comfort you’ll find

Beautiful. I love the message of self-reliance, of providing what you would seek. Well spoken...

Somber, pensive, bittersweet, but utterly moving... it speaks to a wealth of emotion and is instantly memorable. Incredible job.

a bit sad and like you're giving up because of pain. no pain, no gain, and in high risk scenarios, you may lose big but you also may win big. And playing safe, never truly wins...

Oh stunning...because it's so straightforward and true...if You don't risk...You don't get hurt...but also You must remember that if You don't seek..You also won't find
