Devine No More

Devine No More

A Poem by M.Kilani

Human no more

That’s what pain has done me

I am a conflict inside, I am a war

Divine no more

This world is supposed to be

No longer have I sought heaven’s door

Sober no more

As I drink the wine of melancholy

No longer illuminate, redeem no more

Sacred no more

As I drown in my blasphemy

As I seek for Babylon w***e

Empty heart dust only shall fell

Believes no more

Leaving another infidel

Sought the promise land

And no land was there

Hideous death, beauty for the ill

Bleeding on the floor

Waiting for earth to stand still

Oh death, make I believe

For that make them pray

Make me sane as today shall leave

Taking faith of yesterday
