Winning justifies the means?

Army, navy, flags and flying colors

Risk our youth before they have their 1st whiskey

 

Weather the storm whether you're right or wrong

Arm the entire world so no one dies in vain

Rush in, in the name of religion

 

Warn civilian battlefields as graves fill up quickly

Allow human frailty to go wild while human casualties occur

Rest assure, God is on 'our' side

Author's Note

while writing in a local cafe, I overheard the subject of war discussed.
This is my quick and pointed view of the senseless act of war.

I cannot understand the need for war...I have respect for soldiers but they do not realise they are mere pieces on a game board!
All I see is one supposed tyrannical leader being replaced for another..an agenda, innocent people killed/murdered and for what? Liberation from what exactly!
This is a vast topic to discuss but I am totally against war...and this piece is excellent!

Seems the same with any war..the powers that be back both sides..all it is to them is money, opium or oil...so whoever wins, why should they care?

I do salute the soldiers who put there life on the line everyday... but I believe most the wars are unnecessary... unfortunately they are mostly fighting for our leader's egos.
