Stride Forward

Stride Forward

A Poem by Leigh Bedford
"

I wrote this after seeing a photo which my Wife had taken of our daughter stood at our front door and looking ready for an expedition, while gazing back at her Daddy. It just touched me.

"
There'll be so many open doors
Present themselves to you,
Some you'll chose to enter
And some you must go through.

Endless opportunities
To help you navigate
Life's endless maze of back streets
(There's no straight road to take).

And while we try to guide you
With the littlest of fuss
Just promise you'll stride forward
With the odd glance back to us.
